1. Who we are
Beacon Digital PR ("Beacon Digital PR," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website beacondigitalpr.com (the "Site") and is based in Ontario, Canada. This policy applies to information collected through the Site, including our Free Consultation form.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you provide directly: when you submit our Free Consultation form, we collect your name, work email, company name, website, phone number (optional), estimated marketing budget (optional), and any message or details you choose to share.
- Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting and content delivery providers automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and general usage patterns. We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers on this Site.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your consultation request and follow up about our services
- To understand which pages and campaigns are useful to visitors
- To maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Third-party services we use
To operate this Site, we rely on a small number of trusted third-party services, each of which processes limited data on our behalf:
- Formspree — processes and delivers submissions from our Free Consultation form to our inbox. See Formspree's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — hosts this Site and provides content delivery and security infrastructure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used on this Site, which may involve your browser requesting font files from Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy.
5. Cookies
This Site does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics or marketing tools in the future that rely on cookies, we will update this policy and, where required by law, present a cookie consent notice.
6. Data retention
We retain consultation form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain business records, after which they are deleted or anonymized unless you become a client, in which case standard business record-keeping periods apply.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information:
- EU/UK visitors: you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including access, rectification, erasure, and objection to processing.
- California residents: you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion.
- Canadian visitors: you have similar rights under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International data transfers
Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own, including the United States. By using this Site, you understand your information may be transferred internationally.
10. Children's privacy
This Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
